Skijoring is a winter sport which combines cross country skiing along with dog power. The skier is attached to their dog (or dogs) with a belt and towline and is pulled by the dog across the snow. Originating in Scandinavia and literally meaning "ski-driving" in Norwegian, Alaskan Huskies, Malamutes and Siberian Huskies have traditionally been used for skijoring, but any dog that loves to run can be used.
